Each person out there that uses the hearing aid has their own story as to how they ended up having to get a hearing aid. The hearing aid was developed to help amplify sound. It doesn't change the fact that the person wearing it is Deaf or Hard of hearing. It is just an aid to help them to be able to hear to a point which varies from person to person. It is also important for you all to understand that hearing aids don't work for everyone. There are many people out there that do not benefit from hearing aids at all. There are also those people that struggle with understanding the sound so they choose to go without it.
There are many ways to learn more and more about the device but I believe the best way to learn is through doctors and through the individual that have had to wear them. Please share your experience of wearing a hearing aid below to help others better understand how to effects your life. How many of you wear a hearing aid?
