The big question that I want to know is why aren't you motivated to complete these tasks? I personally believe that in some situations it is not that a person can't get motivated. it is that we aren't doing what needs to be done out of fear of different things. We could fear that the task is too dangerous, emotionally challenging, boring, or just plain fear of failure. It's okay to have these type of feelings, because we are all human...meaning it is natural to feel these feelings. The biggest part about pushing pass these things is to find that one thing that helps you complete the task at hand.
My personal thing that I have issues with getting motivated on is something i have struggled with for at least the last 7 or 8 years. The lack of motivation stems from the fear of failure, but also from knowing how challenging things will be during the process. Weight loss is my one issue. The last 8 years has been a roller coaster ride of losing and gaining, but mostly gaining. If there is one thing I have learned through those ups and down it is. The best way to show someone that you are going to do it is by actually doing it. Sometimes the words of promise aren't as strong as they should be. Actions are what truly show the strength you have to do it.
Have I finally found that one thing that will motivate me to follow through without failure? The motivation of why I should take this journey at full force is definitely there. I have my reasons that are driving me to finally push through my fears and show myself I can do it. Will I achieve the goals I desire? Well all I can say is I sure hope so, because as I said before actions are the true signs of accomplishment not words.
Be sure to never give up in the challenges you face in life. Many of these challenges are things that will help you grow into an even better person or may provide you with an opportunity that you would have never imagined otherwise. You must also remember don't feel pressured to complete that one thing that you struggle to get motivated to do. Each person has their own pace for when they are ready. You will get there, but sometimes you do need to ask yourself. Is this delay in action worth it? What will happen if I don't push through this? When you ask yourself the important questions sometimes that is when you show yourself true results.
We all just have to find that one thing that motivates us to do the things we truly NEED to do. I have found my motivation...have you? Below I would love to hear what type of things you struggle with. Share your thoughts, because you never know if what you say may help someone else or even help yourself.
